All pilots to Merc Aero Services, regardless of rank[/i] will recieve a 60% payout for every job they take, with the company only recieving 40% of the job's worth.
All new pilots have $5,000 to their starting funds, and pay and hour accumulation will be updated every Sunday.
Rank is determined by hours and does not affect the pay of ad-hoc jobs. Rank is really only useful when bidding upon contract jobs that pay by the hour. For example, if two or more pilots bid on a contract job, the pilot with the highest rank will win the contract. If, in the event that the pilots are evenly ranked, the winner of the contract will be determined by who bid the lowest for hourly pay.
Here is the Rank Scale:
New Hire: 0-15 Hours
Pilot Second Class: 15-25 Hours
Pilot First Class: 25-50 Hours
First Officer: 50-100 Hours
Captain: 100+ Hours
